Example of water resource management

With increased occurrence of extreme weather, Taiwan has been frequently hit by typhoons. A clear divide has appeared between the rain season and dry season. Reservoirs have experienced severe blockages, ground-water has been over-pumped, and industries require large quantities of water. Water resource protection and utilization will become an important management topic.
