Nokia's new operating model is designed to achieve our strategic ambitions, with a streamlined corporate center supporting a fully responsible business team. Nokia has four business groups built around customer products. Each business group aims to become a technology and market leader in its own field. Nokia’s goal is to better meet the needs of its customers, and to do so by improving accountability, reducing complexity and increasing cost-effectiveness.
Nokia’s four business units have clear missions and have obtained the resources and responsibilities needed to achieve their goals:
Mobile network - Focus on regaining 5G's technological leadership and maintaining its leadership in O-RAN and vRAN, and developing their private wireless services with corporate customers.
Network infrastructure - Focusing on all customer groups, using its technological leadership in IP networks, optical networks, fixed networks and Alcatel submarine networks to promote the digitization of all industries.
Cloud and network services - As the demand for critical networks accelerates, focus on leading the transition to cloud-native software and X-as-a-service delivery models.
Nokia Technology - Focusing on monetizing and increasing the value of Nokia’s intellectual property and licensing revenue
